We at Brecon Mountain Railway certainly do and that is why we are proud to be hosting an exciting magical train ride like no other. For the first time, THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride is coming to Brecon Mountain Railway in 2026. With the magic of the 2004 motion picture THE POLAR EXPRESS™ being theatrically re-created so you and your family can be immersed in the sights, sounds and intrigue of this classic children’s tale. Prepare to be surrounded by the magic and wonder of the Christmas season!

Golden Tickets : A souvenir ticket is provided on arrival.
Train Ride : A 120-minute experience, including a 45-minutes of train ride and a 30 min stop at ‘The North Pole’.
Character Interactions : Meet beloved characters from THE POLAR EXPRESS™, including the Conductor, Hobo, and Santa Claus!
Book Reading : The classic story is read aloud onboard, with stewards displaying a large-format picture book so everyone can follow along.
Entertainment/Refreshments : Pre-train/on-board performances. Watch the Stewards perform the ‘Hot Chocolate’ dance scene at North Pole Stop. Passengers will be served a Hot chocolate drink and a tasty cookie by our ‘Chefs’ & ‘Waiters’.
Special Gift : Santa and the Elves will present each guest with the “first gift of Christmas” as a memento of their journey – a sleigh bell.
Carols : Join the Stewards in singing popular Christmas carols as the train heads back towards Pant Station.
Photo Opportunities : There will be a professional photo opportunity located at Pant Station to capture a special memory of your THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Experience.
