Loyalty Card

We are pleased to launch our new locals ‘Loyalty Card’ at the BMR.

Anyone who permanently resides in the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council area will be able to apply for one of the cards, which have great benefits!:

  • 20% off train tickets (excluding special events)
  • 10% off in the gift shop
  • 10% off in the cafes plus…
  • Every 5th hot drink free!

To apply residents need to bring a proof of address (council tax bill/utility bill/driving license) to either the shop at Pant Station, or the Cafe at Pontsticill.  We require name and address details as well as a valid email address to be able to send details of how to use the card.

The card is valid for the rest of 2025 as a trial.
